Getting started

System status

Where you see whether DDM is running, how we tell you about incidents and maintenance, and how to get notified by e-mail.

Whether DDM is running right now is on our status page. We report incidents there as soon as we know about them and announce maintenance ahead of time — with every new development as an update.

The status page covers the DDM we run. If your organisation runs DDM on its own servers, ask your IT.

What the status page shows

  • At the top: whether all systems are operational — or what is disrupted or under maintenance.
  • Current reports: open incidents and maintenance in progress, each with its latest update. Click the title for all updates.
  • Scheduled maintenance with date and time (German time).
  • Systems: the app, the management (CMS) with its database, file storage and previews and search, the user guide and the website. Each shows the last 90 days as bars — green it ran, yellow it was slow, orange or red it was disrupted, blue it was under maintenance. Hover over a bar to see the day and its reports.
  • History: all past reports, by month.

We check every five minutes that each system answers.

In DDM itself

During an incident or maintenance, a notice bar with the report's title appears at the top of the management and of the app. System status opens the report with all its updates. The × closes the notice — until the next update. The bar announces maintenance a day ahead.

You also find the link to the status page under My account in the management, in the app's Settings, and at the bottom of every page of this guide.

Stay informed by e-mail

At the bottom of the status page, enter your e-mail address and confirm it with the link we send you. From then on you get an e-mail about every incident, every announced maintenance and every update to them — in the language you opened the page in. Every e-mail has a link to unsubscribe.

If you prefer a feed: the status page offers the updates as an Atom feed too (link at the bottom of the page).
